Look At Lindsey Now!

Last July, our “Book Her If You Can” post featured the face of up-and-coming Lindsay Wixson, the now fifteen-year-old model and art student from Kansas. Lindsay inspired us to pose several hopeful questions about her future career -- questions that we’re pleased to see, have been answered! Wixson has since opened for Prada, closed for Miu Miu, walked in Custo Barcelona, landed a Miu Miu campaign, (photographed by Mert Marcus), worked with Craig McDean for W, with Daniel Jackson for i-D, Raymond Mayer for Teen Vogue, booked a shoot with Steven Meisel for Italian Vogue and graced the cover of City Mag (shot by Tim Zaragoza), amongst other things. Stay tuned to see where we will place her this season...way to go Lindsey!

Diversity Finds Its Way Onto The Runway

Is Asian the new black? There’s an Asian uprise in the industry! There has been A lot of attention being focused on these lovely white porcelain faced beauties, and we can't help but notice either. Last season on the runway we featured models like Du Juan@ IMG in Vivienne Tam, Danni Li @ Elite in Vivienne Tam, Tao Okamoto @ Supreme in David DelFin. In campaigns we featured the Liu Wen @ Marilyn in Converse by John Varvatos. Seems like Vogue Magazine has also been smitten by their epicanthic fold. The Magazine just shot all 4 girls, and included Kiki Kang @ New York Models(who we LUV!), and Ping Hue Cheung @ Major, for the February 2010 Issue. Stay tuned to see what MTC we'll be sending down the runway this season! Our Casting Coverage begins next week of New York City's Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2010/11.
